SAHMRI Registry Centre
SAHMRI greatly values registries as a source of translational and observational research. Well-designed registries, particularly at the population level, form the ‘third pillar’ of scientific research in conjunction with clinical trials and laboratory work. We believe population-based studies founded on registries can represent the most reliable option for identifying the actual effects of treatments and outcomes in the general population.
The SAHMRI Registry Centre was established to widen our existing role in the registry space and to expand capacity and training in this area. The SAHMRI Registry Centre’s goals are to:
- Provide the best resources for registry building capacity;
- Lead registry science through collaborative opportunities for our scientists;
- Develop strong international and industry collaborations;
- Continue to support a shared learning environment within our organisation;
- Become a leading national and international registry centre.
The registries that are currently a part of the SAHMRI Registry Centre are listed below. If you have any general questions regarding the SAHMRI Registry Centre, please contact info@sahmri.com
