SA Aboriginal Health Research Network

The South Australian Aboriginal Health Research Network supports the ongoing development of a resilient research community in South Australia. The objectives of the network are to:

  • build capacity in Aboriginal research in South Australia, among both Aboriginal and non-Indigenous researchers;
  • promote and support the translation of research into policy and practice;
  • provide a safe place for researchers to propose, discuss and develop their ideas; and
  • foster collaboration on key research projects and facilitate communication and debate on conducting quality research.

SAHMRI is located on the traditional lands of the Kaurna Nation.

The SAHMRI community acknowledges and respects the traditional owners, the family clans who are the Kaurna Nation from the Adelaide Plains region of South Australia. We acknowledge the clans of the Kaurna Nation and the sacred knowledge they hold for their country. We pay our respects to the Kaurna Nation, their ancestors and the descendants of these living family clans today.
